It is a traditional Alentejo farmhouse with 6 hectares located amidst rolling hills, cork oaks, and holm oaks, offering a peaceful and idyllic retreat for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

It is the whitewashed walls, typical of Portuguese architecture, that welcome the arrival of those who visit us.
The scent of the earth and the herb garden give a warm welcome. We respect the most traditional aspects of Alentejo while combining sophisticated decor that blends comfort with the picturesque charm of the place, creating a dreamy setting throughout the year.
In every corner of the house, you will find a piece of our history, with Alentejo's authenticity reflected in delicately arranged ceramics on shelves, tables, and walls, as well as in straw hats and baskets that adorn the space that is home.

Whether you're relaxing in the communal spaces, preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoying the refreshing pool on the hammocks, every moment spent here will be filled with tranquility and joy.
The farmhouse offers the option of the complete "Vale Madalena" house, which can be divided into two independent houses: "Casa do Vale" and "Casa do Seixo," giving guests the choice to rent the entire house or opt for one of the houses for a more intimate stay.

Vale Madalena is located in the heart of the Alentejo interior, in the district of Beja, with proximity to various Alentejo villages and towns.
The historic towns of Serpa and Mértola are only a 20-minute and 35-minute drive away, respectively.
It is located 2 and a half hours from Lisbon and 2 hours from Seville.

For beach lovers, the Minas de São Domingos (Tapada Grande) and Cinco Reis are great options for a swim. The Algarve beaches of Praia Verde and Cacela Velha are also just an hour and a half away by car.
The stunning waterfall of Pulo do Lobo is also nearby, at a distance of 65 km.
Explore the ancient mines of São Domingos as well, located 20 km away. It's a land of miners with unique landscapes and memories of ore exploration. Here, you can find the Minério Route, a 14 km hiking trail that covers the main stages of the ore cycle.
