It is a 6 hectare traditional Alentejo farm set amongst rolling hills, cork oaks and holm oaks, offering a peaceful and idyllic retreat for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Each house has been carefully designed to showcase the rustic beauty and warm atmosphere of the region, with typical Portuguese details, while offering modern amenities for a comfortable experience.
The exterior of the country house is characterized by whitewashed walls, typical of Portuguese architecture, and is adorned with colorful flowering plants and aromatic herbs.
The surrounding landscape is dotted with ancient cork trees, which offer shade and a sense of tranquility. A spacious porch with access to the pool serves as a common area for guests to relax, dine or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Location
Vale Madalena is located in the heart of the Alentejo interior, in the district of Beja, with proximity to several Alentejo villages and towns. The historic towns of Serpa and Mértola are only a 20-minute and 35-minute drive away, respectively.
It is conveniently located 2 and a half hours from Lisbon and 2 hours from Seville.
If you prefer swimming and sunbathing, the river beaches of Minas de São Domingos (Tapada Grande) and Cinco Reis are great options. If you miss the Algarve beaches, Praia Verde and the beaches of Cacela Velha are just a 1 and a half hour drive away.
The stunning Pulo do Lobo waterfall is also nearby, 65 km away.
Explore the ancient São Domingos mines, located 20 km away, a land of miners with unique landscapes and memories of ore exploration ruins. Here you can find the Minério Route, a 14 km hiking trail that explores the main phases of the ore cycle.
